Go: Mission Teams

Each team comes down with an objective that meats a specific need here on the field. These trips are not designed for the people taking the trip, but for those to which they are coming to minister. These are ministry focused trips. That being said, we will treat you good and work you hard! If your church is interested in bringing a team down to Guatemala please contact us for an info sheet.

Evangelistic Teams: These teams are used to open doors in villages that currently have no work in them or just a small mission that needs some help growing.

Things that have worked well in the past: wordless skits, prerecorded puppet skits, dramas, host a sporting event, host a kids' festival, women's outreach with a devotional and craft time, pedicures for the ladies.

Work Teams: These teams work on a project that will benefit a village as a whole. This will be different for each village/church based upon the present need. This type of team needs to raise additional money sometimes depending on the construction supplies needed.

Things that work teams have done in the past: dug a foundation for a new church, built outhouses, painted schools, built fences.

Medical Teams: These teams need to have a minimum of one doctor. Others who are in the medical field could teach public health classes. Dentistry work is a big need here. These are most beneficial in the more rural areas.

KBI Teams: These teams are designed for pastors and professors who are interested in teaching a 3 day module at our Kekchi pastors institute. For more information please visit www.KekchiBibleInstitute.org.
